Your wedding day is all about making memories that last a lifetime. When it comes to choosing the best location to capture those memories, St. Louis is the perfect spot to take dazzling wedding photos.

Here are a few of our favorite places to take wedding and engagement photos that you’ll cherish forever:

The Jewel Box

1 Wells and McKinley Drive
St. Louis, MO 63110
(314) 289-5389
www.stlouis-mo.gov

The Jewel Box, a Forest Park gem, recently underwent a $3.5 million renovation, making it a beautiful backdrop for your wedding pictures. Built in 1936, the crystal-like building was created with art deco design and 50-foot-tall cantilevered glass. It is one of the most unique buildings in all of Missouri. Inside is 7,500 square feet of nature-lined space; outside is a small pond and lush gardens full of hundreds of flowers that provide a number of opportunities to strike a pose.

Citygarden

8th and Market St.
St. Louis, MO 63101
(314) 241-3337
www.citygardenstl.org

Citygarden Sculpture Park offers a great mix of urban and urbane. From downtown highrises to the Gateway Arch, here you’ll find some of the largest and most iconic St. Louis sights. The sculptures are the real stars of the show at Citygarden. The park’s winding paved path traverses 24 contemporary creations made by artists from around the world. There are also flower gardens, plenty of greenery, and water elements to incorporate in your wedding photography.

The Grand Basin

35-43 Fine Arts Drive
St. Louis, MO 63110
(314) 721-0072
www.slam.org

The Emerson Grand Basin, located at the foot of Art Hill in Forest Park, is one of the most photographed spots in St. Louis, and for good reason. Built for the 1904 World’s Fair, this piece of St. Louis history offers fountains and a reflection pool. Just up the hill is the St. Louis Art Museum, which provides more than a few photo opportunities itself.

Tower Grove Park

4256 Magnolia Ave.
St. Louis, MO 63110
(314) 771-2679
www.towergrovepark.org

This remarkable park was once private land owned by Henry Shaw, who also founded Missouri Botanical Garden. The park is packed with beautiful pavilions and even a sculpture-lined lily pond, the Ruins and Fountain Pond, that make for a timeless, fairy tale setting for your special day.

Gateway Arch National Park

11 N. 4th St.
St. Louis, MO 63102
(314) 655-1600
www.gatewayarch.com

The grounds and museum of Gateway Arch National Park recently underwent a massive renovation, and now includes 62 acres of scenic views of the Mighty Mississippi, as well as some of the most remarkable views of the tallest landmark in the United States, the Gateway Arch. Formerly called the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial until 2018, this easy-to-recognize St. Louis staple is a point of pride and history for the Gateway to the West.
